Having been part of this community for over a decade, my heart remains with WC-PLN even though I now live and work in the Eastern Time Zone. As your VP of Events, I am thrilled to preview our Fall 2026 lineup. In addition to our annual conference, themed around our core value of inclusion, we will be continuing our newly launched Coastal Conversations: A Peer Learning Webinar Series—designed by and for paraprofessional educators (tutors, coaches, and SI leaders).

About WC-PLN Events

WC-PLN Regional Initiatives foster ongoing collaboration among professionals working within specific peer-to-peer academic support modalities. Through regional groups, participants connect regularly to share resources, exchange ideas, discuss emerging challenges, and strengthen professional practice while building meaningful relationships with colleagues who understand the unique opportunities and complexities of their work.

Coastal Conversations

Peer tutors, academic coaches, embedded tutors, SI Leaders, and mentors are invited to strengthen their practice and broaden their impact through Coastal Conversations. This free webinar series is led by paraprofessional educators, for paraprofessional educators. While sessions cover a range of topics to empower student leaders, supervisors and other professionals are welcome to join and share these insights with their own institutional programs. The Fall 2026 Coastal Conversations Peer Learning Webinars will be held Wednesdays 3:00pm-4:00pm PST.
